Bradco is North America's premier manufacturer of professional grade
trenchers and backhoes, both for skid steer and tractor mounting. The
company was founded in 1964 to supply trenching equipment for the gas
distribution business. Today they manufacture a complete range of
attachments for the skid steer, telehandler and wheel loader market.
Products include rotary brooms, augers, buckets, pallet forks,
grapples, tree spades, stump grinders, and landscape rakes.

Bradco's 640 trencher is a planetary drive model designed for standard
flow and high flow skid steers. The planetary drive system
provides smooth power transfer from the hydraulic motor to the chain
assembly and is extremely reliable.
Like all of Bradco's trenchers, the digging chain assembly is the heart of the unit. Bradco uses 50,000 lb. tensile strength chain with anti back-flex. The chain can be fitted with standard cup teeth for fast digging in good conditions, or a combination rock tooth and cup tooth for rocky and frozen ground. Mechanical side shift is standard, hydraulic side shift can be added with an additional cylinder assembly. Maximum trench widths based on trench depth:
