Keep your rows clean

Suitable for tractors between 15 and 50 HP, the model FL and FLA series are designed for the small acreage grower.  These machines will also fit into a larger commercial operation where row centers are narrow and a minimum head width is required, however soil conditions must be light and tilling depth kept to a minimum.  (For example, strip tilling is not recommended with this machine.)

The FL and FLA models are similar mechanically, but the FLA has a higher crop clearance than the FL.  Ground clearance under the hex drive shaft is 16" on the FL series and 20" on the FLA series.

All Multivators are PTO powered, so the tractor must be equipped with a three point hitch and 540 rpm PTO shaft.  The rotating blades cut weeds below ground level, and blend residue into the vertical soil zone to promote better soil structure and moisture retention.

Specifications for FL & FLA:

  • Hex drive shaft diameter - 30mm (1-1/4")
  • Roller chain size - #60 heavy duty (#12B)
  • Standard frame widths: 66" - 90" - 110" - 132" - 158" (wider frames are available to special order)
